My ten goals, and what progress I've made:
- Run a half-marathon (21KM) in a decent time (less than 2 hours). Continued to work on week four of the C25K plan. Didn't actually finish the runs on the individual days, but I decided to move on to week five anyhow; I did the first day of five yesterday fine.
- Achieve a moderate level of strength; 30 pushups, 60 situps, and 10 pullups should do as a start (based on the Australian Army's Commando Physical Fitness Entry Requirements). Worked on this two or three days during the week.
- Be at a half-decent martial artist. No Progress.
- Shoot a rifle and pistol accurately. No Progress. (Looks like I will finally make some progress this week though)
- Have a decent knowledge of First Aid. Finished the second day of the first aid course. No where near as indepth as I'd like, but a good start.
- Be a member of the SES. No Progress.
- Have a basic working knowledge of at least one non-English language. Finished the fourth lesson of the bahasa Indonesia book.
- Make a decent profit on the share market (better than 5% annually). No Progress.
- Publish a short story, at least in one of the online magazines, but print would be better. No Progress.
- Post regularly here (at least once a week). Two posts.
